Jeremy Marcotte

Hello everyone! My name is Jeremy Marcotte, and I am one of the co-founders and head coaches for Peak Level Physique. Allow me to introduce myself by providing you with some of the basics such as my education, credentials, experience, and coaching philosophies.

As a nutrition and fitness professional my educational background is based heavily within the field of nutrition. I completed my higher education at Idaho State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics as well as my master’s degree in Nutrition Sciences. During my time as a graduate student, I also completed 1200 supervised hours at various healthcare facilities as part of the Dietetic Internship Program needed to become a dietitian. In addition to my collegiate background, I also completed the CPT and CNC certifications through NASM back in 2016. I have continued to fulfill all the necessary requirements to maintain those certifications over the last 6 years. During that span, I have had the privilege to work with hundreds of clients in person and online to achieve their fitness goals.

Shortly after becoming a personal trainer, I joined the world of competitive bodybuilding as a Men’s Physique competitor and stepped on stage for the first time at the 2016 NPC Idaho Cup. I have since competed in both the Men’s Physique and Classic Physique divisions at 6 national qualifying shows and 5 pro qualifiers for a total of 11 competitions. During my time in the NPC, I was awarded the title of class champion 8x and overall champion 3x. It was at this point that I began pursuing my goal of earning an IFBB pro card to compete amongst the ranks of the best bodybuilders in the world. At the 4 pro qualifying shows I competed in between 2021-2022 I placed within the top 5 5x, and two of those times missed my pro card by only one placing. As hard as it was to keep going after coming up short multiple times in a row my perseverance and persistence finally paid off in July of 2022 at NPC USAs, where I was able to prevail victorious and earn that illustrious IFBB pro card in Men’s Physique.

After establishing years of education and experience as an athlete, I knew that I wanted to share my love and passion for the sport of bodybuilding as a coach. Stepping into that role was one of the best decisions I ever made. Initially, my goals as a prep coach were not only to bring out the best possible version of the individuals, I work with but to also provide them with the best possible experience throughout the process. As those two goals were accomplished with more and more athletes the bodybuilding community around me began to grow exponentially. A few years later that community evolved into something so much more, and before I knew it the PLP family was born. Today, one of my main goals as a head coach for PLP is to show others the truly amazing things that they can accomplish by being a part of this incredible team.
